DVR- Digital Video Recorder

The Smartview AVS DVR is a pc based DVR running on Windows XP with emergency disk recovery. It features support of up to 32 cameras, scalable MPEG-4/ h.264 compression, Motion Detection, Audio Detection, Constant Recording, and Priority Recording Modes, PTZ control with up to 32 PTZ presets, Remote Management Software, display and record data from up to 8 cash registers with optional POS.

NVR- Network Video Recorder

The Smartview AVS NVR is a pc based NVR which utilizes network cameras. This allows the system to be set up and run from a remote location through the use of up to 32 network enabled cameras. The NVR offers all the same features as the DVR aside from the cameras, such as scalable MPEG-4/ h.264 compression, Motion Detection, Audio Detection, Constant Recording, and Priority Recording Modes, PTZ control with up to 32 PTZ presets, Remote Management Software, display and record data from up to 8 cash registers with optional POS.

UVR- Unified Video Recorder

The Smartview UVR is the best of both worlds. It allows the use of analog and digital IP network enabled cameras. The UVR offers all the great features offered from our DVR and NVR including scalable MPEG-4/ h.264 compression, Motion Detection, Audio Detection, Constant Recording, and Priority Recording Modes, PTZ control with up to 32 PTZ presets, Remote Management Software, display and record data from up to 8 cash registers with optional POS.

Small Foot Print

All Smartview Digital Video Recorders, Network Video Recorders, and Unified Video Recorders are built using our compact case, measuring in at just 12.5 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 5.5 inches tall. This feature not only reduces space needed to install the unit but also allows Smartview to reduce its environmental impact by cutting back on the amount of packaging used, reducing shipping weight, and using less electricity to operate while still offering the outstanding performance and features.
